Mr. Crowley has a dark occult theme to his personal brand, and working within those standards was a stylistic stretch for me - one that was successful in that the client is very happy with the results. While I did not take the promotional photography, I used its tone and themes to build the visual style of the overall piece. The yellow and red are used to make the type “pop” against the black background, and the esoteric symbol graphics add to the visual interest. Typographical layout is on display here, and I used visual hierarchy throughout to create a dynamic and unique layout that engages the viewer, leads them through the information, and leaves behind a memorable impression.
